In 2007, Sharleen Dickson MCC and her daughter Alison created the Ladies On The Go Travel Club in order to encourage women who may feel hesitant of travelling alone to travel and experience the world. Sharleen believes that life is short and every lady should have the opportunity to travel and have fun. Both founders of the Club also believe in providing their members with excellent service and securing the best possible fares and value added travel arrangements. The Club offers tours and cruises that provide ladies with once in a lifetime opportunities to explore the four corners of the world.
The Club also gives ladies the opportunity to initiate their own tour. For example, if a lady is interested in going on a tour to a specific place, or during a specific time period, then all she has to do is inform Sharleen or Alison and they will do their best to see if any of the other Ladies On The Go members or their travel agency clients may be interested.
What’s more, Ladies On The Go not only offers tours that will be ladies only but also tours that are open to all since it is always nice to meet many different people on a tour. According to the Club, the goal of a “lady on the go” is to get out there and have some fun!
